Welcome!
We are a group of pilots who are building the Fastest and most Efficient Homebuilt Flying Club in the World. We are located at the Watertown, WI Airport (RYV) in Hangar # D23, third hangar from the south end of the center row of hangars. Our blue sign is on the glass door. Aerial view.

Finances
We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel (flying the Four). This has led to increased parts and labor on the four. Also unplanned expenses were incurred while up-grading the 360 avionics. All agreed that completing the Four should be our top financial priority. Completing the four should be of benefit to all, especially those members interested in selling their shares. To make this happen it was decided to increase our funds and insure that no resources intended for the Four are spent on the 360. Specifically it was approved that effective 1/1/04:

*All members (partial and full) will be liable for quarterly dues. These dues are due prior to each calendar quarter.* Unpaid dues will be deducted from loan or investment credits.

*The hourly rate for the 360 will be increased to $80. This rate increase was made to include a portion of insurance, rent, reserve and utilities that are allocated to the 360. Labor will not be applicable to this hourly rate. This rate was based on typical experience with other planes. A specific 360 budget for this hourly rate will be presented at our next meeting.

*Any un budgeted 360 costs such as an engine major would be born by those flying the 360.

*An assessment will be made to those flying the 360 to cover the cost of the avionics up-grade. The final amount will depend on the cost of repairing the Audio Panel and the engraving.

New Members
Completion of the Four is important in attracting new members. It was proposed that our membership be expanded from 14 to 17. The proceeds of these new member investments will be used to pay off club loans and to complete the painting, upholstery and avionics of the Four. Estimated costs for up-grading the Four will be presented at our next meeting.

Action on the proposals carried over from our last meeting included:

#1 (N304R insurance, flying cost concerns)

This item was tabled for review after we get the Four flying.

#2 (N3603R engine major concern)

This item was included in the increased 360 hourly rate.

#3 (Administrative duties and compensation)

It was approved that all administrative tasks be compensated at $300/qtr.

#4 (360 avionics assessment)

This item was tabled pending a cost of repairing the Audio Panel.

360 Avionics
All seems to be working fine. Remaining tasks include; swapping fan and auto pilot circuit breakers, adding an audio full header warning and revising the panel engraving.

360 Oil screen
The oil screen will be monitored for metallic particles at each 25-hour oil change.

*Mike Holcomb would be exempt from this requirement as long as he makes regular investments earmarked for completion of the Four.
